ELYN Water Program

Baseline (BIO), Prevention (DN), Surface Layer / Sediment (DGA).

Pond pH, dissolved oxygen, nitrogen, organic matter, and algae are all interconnected — you cannot treat one in isolation and expect stability. The ELYN Water Program uses three products working together because each targets a different part of this system.

Improved water and sediment quality lowers environmental stress on shrimp — the primary trigger for disease outbreaks. Stressed animals show suppressed immune function and higher susceptibility to viral and bacterial pathogens. This program addresses root causes in the pond environment rather than treating symptoms.

ELYN BIO

Organic matter digestion & microbial baseline

Multi-strain microbial water purifier. Bacillus decomposes proteins, carbohydrates, and lipids; Lactobacillus produces bacteriocins and organic acids that suppress Vibrio; Pseudomonas removes nitrate/nitrite and reduces phosphorus; yeast supports microbial diversity. Reducing the organic load is the most effective biological route to H2S prevention — less anaerobic substrate means less sulfide formed at the pond bottom.

  • Total viable count: ≥ 6 × 10¹² CFU/kg across 4 strain types
  • Bacillus sp. (2 strains, spore-forming) ≥ 2 × 10¹² CFU/kg — multi-enzyme decomposition; denitrification
  • Lactobacillus sp. (2 strains) ≥ 2 × 10¹² CFU/kg — bacteriocins, organic acids; suppress Vibrio
  • Pseudomonas sp. ≥ 1 × 10¹² CFU/kg — nitrate/nitrite removal, phosphorus reduction
  • Yeast ≥ 1 × 10¹² CFU/kg — decomposes dissolved lipids, supports microbial diversity
  • Freeze-dried powder, zeolite carrier — 2-year shelf life at room temperature
  • Powder formulation: strains blended post-drying to prevent inter-strain competition
  • Packaging: 5 kg aluminum bags
  • Application: 2 kg/ha, weekly to every 2 weeks depending on organic load

ELYN DN

Nitrogen cycle & H₂S control

Concentrated nitrifiers and denitrifiers targeting ammonia, nitrite, and hydrogen sulfide (H2S) — the leading non-viral cause of shrimp mortality. Nitrosomonas oxidises ammonia to nitrite, Nitrobacter converts nitrite to far less toxic nitrate, and Bacillus performs heterotrophic denitrification on residual organic load. Applied 2–3 days after BIO to target nitrogen compounds from the remaining organic load.

  • Total viable count: ≥ 6 × 10¹² CFU/kg across 4 strain types
  • Bacillus sp. (2 strains) ≥ 2 × 10¹² CFU/kg — multi-enzyme decomposition; denitrification
  • Lactobacillus sp. (2 strains) ≥ 2 × 10¹² CFU/kg — lactobacillin; decomposes dissolved organic matter
  • Nitrosomonas sp. ≥ 1 × 10¹² CFU/kg — nitrification step 1 (NH3 → NO2)
  • Nitrobacter sp. ≥ 1 × 10¹² CFU/kg — nitrification step 2 (NO2 → NO3)
  • Freeze-dried powder, zeolite carrier — 2-year shelf life at room temperature
  • Effective across pH and salinity ranges
  • Packaging: 5 kg aluminum bags
  • Application: 2 kg/ha once every 2 weeks, 2–3 days after BIO

ELYN DGA

Phosphorus capture & algae regulation

Mineral-based — not a probiotic. Calcium, magnesium, and aluminum compounds bind free phosphorus into stable apatite forms that algae cannot use. As the powder sinks it captures phosphorus through the water column, then buffers acidic sediment and reduces H2S toxicity at the bottom. Supplies Ca2+ and Mg2+ essential for shrimp moulting and shell hardening.

  • 77.4% algae removal in 10 minutes; over 95% total reduction
  • pH buffering against day/night swings caused by photosynthesis cycles
  • Sediment mineralisation alongside bloom control
  • Mineral composition: natural Ca, Mg, Al-based compounds (100–150 mesh)
  • Safety: harmless at 10× recommended dose (200 ppm); non-toxic to daphnia at 50 ppm
  • Packaging: 20 kg bag
  • Application: 5–20 ppm, 2–3× per cycle. Effective duration up to 1 month.

Application timing: ELYN BIO from preparation through harvest, frequency adjusted to organic load (weekly under high feed/biomass, every 2 weeks under light load). ELYN DN every 2 weeks once organic load builds, applied 2–3 days after BIO. ELYN DGA reactively and proactively — 2–3 times per cycle to knock down blooms before they crash, with dose adjusted to bloom severity.

Dosage note: Adjust the dosage according to pond conditions during the culture cycle, and increase the dosage as feed input increases.

Pond lifecycle programme

Phase 01
Preparation

BIO · DGA
Establish beneficial microbial community before stocking. Apply BIO to inoculate the water column. Use DGA if algae are present or minerals depleted.
Phase 02
Early Culture

BIO
Maintain BIO weekly to sustain microbial dominance — low organic load phase. Establish competitive exclusion before waste accumulates.
Phase 03
Mid-Cycle Stress

BIO · DN · DGA
Feed load peaks. Introduce DN once every 2 weeks (2–3 days after BIO) for nitrogen and H2S buildup. DGA if algae blooms or pH instability.
Phase 04
Risk Management

BIO · DN · DGA
High-density, high-stress phase. Increase DN if ammonia or H2S detected. DGA to control algae before blooms crash. Full programme intensity.

Frequency & dose summary

Product Frequency Dose Timing Key rule
ELYN BIO Weekly – every 2 weeks 2 kg/ha From prep, frequency by load Foundation product. Frequency adjusts to organic load — weekly under high feed/biomass, every 2 weeks under light load.
ELYN DN Every 2 weeks 2 kg/ha 2–3 days after BIO Introduce when organic load builds. Increase if ammonia or H2S detected.
ELYN DGA 2–3× per cycle 5–20 ppm As needed Reactive and proactive. Apply to knock down blooms — do not wait for a crash.

Monitoring, application & warning signs

Monitoring. Measure pH at 06:00 and 18:00 daily. Daily variation greater than 0.2 signals algal or sediment issues requiring attention. Monitor water colour changes.

Application. Apply products evenly across the pond during daytime in clear weather. Dissolve powder in pond water before broadcasting. Reseal bags and store in a dry, shaded place below 25°C.

Warning signs. Sudden water colour change, foam on surface, strong odour from sediment, or shrimp swimming at the surface all indicate urgent intervention with DN and/or DGA.

Why this works as a system

ELYN BIO handles organic decomposition and microbial baseline — the load that drives oxygen demand and nitrogen stress. ELYN DN targets ammonia, nitrite, and hydrogen sulfide at the sediment–water interface, where H2S is lethal at trace levels easily reached on pond bottoms. ELYN DGA captures phosphorus to starve algae, buffers bottom pH, and supplies minerals — closing the loop when blooms and nutrient imbalance threaten the system.

Surface, water column, and sediment interact constantly. Three products working together — not symptoms, but the root causes of pond instability.

Why ELYN

  • DNA-verified strains. Isolated from high-performing Korean ponds over 20+ years. Every strain DNA-verified by an independent Korean genetics laboratory and batch-tested to ≥ 109 CFU/g.
  • Freeze-dried stability. Zeolite carrier ensures a 2-year shelf life. Freeze-drying prevents inter-strain competition — all strains activate simultaneously on contact with water.
  • Spore-forming Bacillus. Heat-resistant endospores survive transport, storage, and harsh pond conditions — guaranteed viable cells at every application.

Expected results timeline

From commercial deployment experience:

  • Water quality improvements often visible within about one month
  • Growth rate and mortality improvements commonly assessed 4–8 weeks before harvest
  • With DGA, strong algae reduction within 10 minutes is often visible through water colour change

Observed results from commercial deployment. Results vary by species and environmental conditions.
